For example, our outdoor printer should add eco solvent ink because it is added into water-based ink by mistake, which is easy to cause ink deposit, thus blocking the entire ink path or the printhead.What should we do if the wrong ink is added to the printer?
1.If the ink has just been added to the cartridge, that is to say, the ink has not entered the ink supply path, then only a new cartridge needs to be replaced.
2.If ink has entered the ink supply path, the entire ink path needs to be cleaned and the corresponding damper replaced at the same time.If the ink is not cleaned, the entire ink supply system needs to be replaced.
3.If the cleaning function has been turned on, then the ink has entered the printhead. At this time, the printhead needs to be taken down immediately, and the printhead should be cleaned with the flush liquid. The ink should be drained as much as possible. If the printhead is blocked seriously, then only a new printhead can be replaced.
Everyone must be careful when using the ink of the printhead, and make sure that the ink is correct repeatedly before adding it, so as not to cause unnecessary troubles and losses.
