Hidden printing is the use of modern high-tech dyeing and printing technology to perform special printing and finishing on the fabric, so that the surface of the fabric is hydrophobic and hydrophilic at the same time. In the process of fabric printing and finishing, the traditional dyed color paste printing is changed to dyeless white paste printing and and the traditional fabric waterproof finishing is changed to local printed waterproof finishing,so that on the same fabric surface, the parts printed have waterproofed Hydrophobic, while untreated areas remain hydrophilic.
After the fabric is wetted, due to the difference in water content between the hydrophobic part and the hydrophilic part on the surface of the fabric,thus, it is easy to show the phenomenon that the color of the pattern is different, and the reflection intensity of natural light is different.This printing is called a hidden printing process.
In simple terms, the difference between a hidden printing and a traditional printing is that the color pattern of the hidden printing fabric is usually invisible, and can only appear after the fabric is fully wet in water. Due to this feature, the hidden printing is more suitable for printing underwater clothing, such as underwater work clothes, marine travel clothes, various swimsuits and so on.
