There are following reasons that the carriage can’t reset:
A The reset sensor is in poor contact
B The raster decoder is damaged
C The computer is not connected to the machine
D The drive board is burn out.
Methods:
A. Do not insert the USB line, when the LCD shows COOLCOLOR state, put the left and right button to see whether we can move the carriage, or put the up and down button to see whether the paper can go back and forth, if not you need to replace the driver board.
B. If the carriage moves to the left, check whether the reset switch is loose or replace a new one.
C. Check the encoder sensor or replace new one.
D. Switch on the printer, if there is nothing wrong with the points above, check whether the USB cable connection is correct, when pluging USB cable in computer hardware device manager, check whether you can find “printer”, if not, please replace the main board.
